KIPI LAUNCHES PUBLIC COMPLAINTS OFFICE
As part of its obligations under its performance contract with the Government, the KIPI Board of Directors committed itself to the resolution of public complaints through the establishment of mechanisms to work with the PCSC to address complaints.
The Public Complaints Standing Committee (PCSC) was established by His Excellency The President on 29th June 2007 through Kenya Gazette No. 5826 of 2007. The PCSC is mandated. THE PCSC is mandated to receive and take appropriate action on complaints against public officers in ministries, parastatals/ State Corporations, Statutory Bodies and all other public institutions.
The Public Complaints Office of the Institute has been established under the corporate Affairs Office headed by Mrs. Abigail Shani-Sapati, the Senior Corporate Affairs Officer. The Institute commits itself to respond to the complaints filed within the shortest possible time as stipulated by the PCSC.

KIONDO IDEA THEFT: AN INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY MYTH!
Several articles have in the past appeared in the media alleging the loss of the kiondo by Kenya to foreigners. However, this is an Intellectual Property myth, according to Sylvance Sange, Principal Examiner at Kenya Industrial Property Institute (KIPI).
