Training Course on Drafting and Prosecuting Patent Applications 18th - 21st August 2014 at Strathmore University

Kenya Industrial Property Institute (KIPI) in collaboration with the Centre for Intellectual Property and Information Technology (CIPIT), Strathmore Law School will hold a training course on drafting and prosecuting patent application from 18th -21st August 2014 at Strathmore University, Nairobi.

The objective of the course is to equip the participants with skills for preparing, filing and prosecuting patent and utility model applications in accordance with the requirements of the Industrial Property Act, 2001.

The participation fee for each person is Ksh. 50,000, which includes lunch, teas and training materials.   The fee should be paid to the Institute by cash or cheque by 11th August 2014. However, participants who will register and pay the fee by 4th August 2014 will enjoy a special rate of Ksh. 45,000. Where necessary, participants should make their own arrangements for hotel accommodation.

Advocates will earn 2 CLE points upon completion of the training.
